Tab Setup
The Tab Setup page allows users to customize the layout and tab options available on certain Matrix pages. Changes to tab layout are restricted by profile. This allows users to limit options available to specific groups for ease of use.
All pages and their available tabs are listed in the Index section of this document.
Getting Started
When initially viewing the Tab Setup page, users are prompted to select which Matrix page should be managed.

Perform the following steps to open the desired Matrix Page’s Tab Setup options.
- Select the Matrix Page you would like to edit from the Page drop-down.
- Selecting a page will display the Profile field.

- Selecting a page will display the Profile field.
- Select the user profile the changes will be applied to from the Profile drop-down.
The selected profile’s current options will display.

Options
Users can manage which available tabs should display on the selected page via the Options available for that page.

Currently visible tabs will have a checkmark to the left of their name. Currently hidden tabs will have a no symbol to the left of their name.
Selecting a tab will display its Edit Option dialog box where users can update the status of the tab on the page.

These settings and their use are defined below.

| Active | Determines if the component is available or hidden. Checked: the tab will be visible to users. Unchecked: the tab will be hidden from users. |
| Pre-load | Determines if the tab should automatically pull and display data when the tab is selected. Checked: the tab will automatically display applicable data when selected. Unchecked: the tab will not automatically display data. |
Once all settings are configured as necessary, select Save to complete updating the tab.
Preview
Users can manage tab order and layout via the Preview options.

Drag and drop the displayed tabs into the desired order. Tabs will display in the displayed order on the selected page.
After reviewing available tabs and their placement, select Save under Select Page to preserve the changes made to the selected profile.

Matrix Aware Tab Setup
Matrix Aware tab setup allows users to define the amount of space each tab occupies on the page.

Selecting one of the available tabs will display the Edit Option dialog for the tab. These settings and their use are defined below.

| Title | Determines the name of the tab displayed on the page. |
| Width | Determines the percentage of the screen the option will occupy on the user’s screen when they view Matrix Aware. |
| Height | Determines the height, in pixels, of the option. |
| Refresh Rate | Determines how often the option will automatically refresh. |
| Active | Determines if the component is available or hidden. Checked: the tab will be visible to users. Unchecked: the tab will be hidden from users. |
| Pre-load | Determines if the tab should automatically pull and display data when the tab is selected. Checked: the tab will automatically display applicable data when selected. Unchecked: the tab will not automatically display data. |
Once all settings are configured as necessary, select Save to complete updating the tab.
Index
Add-Ons
The Add-Ons tab available within Caller Assistance and Data Entry allows users to manage additional data assigned to the subscriber. See the Add-Ons documentation for more information on how to use this tab and its options.

Aware
The Matrix Aware Dashboard is used as a status monitor to display how many and what type of alarm signals have been received and routed through the system. See the Matrix Aware Dashboard documentation for more information on this page.

| Pending | Displays all alarms currently waiting to be handled by operators. |
| Operators | Displays a timeline of operator statuses. |
| Inbound Call Engine | Displays inbound call statistics of calls received by the system. |
| Inbound Alarm Engine | Displays inbound alarm statistics of received alarms. |
| Not Receiving | Displays all operators currently not in receiving and the reason why. |
| Day Stats | Displays daily operator alarm handling statistics and efficiency scores. |
| Operator Status | Displays operators and the alarm they are currently handling. |
| Signals | Displays a timeline of received alarms. |
| Service Level | Displays the duration callers had to wait before an operator answered the call. |
| Alarms on Hold | Displays all alarms placed within the hold queue by operators. |
Call Lists
The Call Lists tab available within Data Entry allows users to manage lists of contacts that should be called when operators are handling alarms. See the Call Lists documentation for more information on this page.

Caller Assistance

| Open/Close Status | Displays the subscriber’s current schedule status. |
| Panel Information | Displays the codes assigned to the subscriber’s installed alarm panel. |
| Dealer Info | Displays the account’s assigned dealer’s information. |
| Edit Request | Allows users to submit a request on the customer’s behalf to make a change to their account. |
| Authority Search | Displays all authorities assigned to the account. |
| Notes | Allows users to assigned miscellaneous information to the account. |
| Other | Allows users to manage miscellaneous alarm handling and notification settings on the account. |
| Add-Ons | Allows users to manage additional data assigned to the subscriber. |
| Call Lists | Allows users to manage lists of contacts that should be called when operators are handling alarms. |
| Queued Changes | Allows administrative users to manage changes made to the account by queued users. |
| Notify Lists | Allows users to define lists of contacts who should be notified regarding specific information or events. |
| Alarms on Hold | Displays all alarms currently within the Hold Queue within Monitoring. |
| Paging | Allows users to view and send page notifications to applicable contacts. |
| New Sales | Displays the New Sales form that allows users to create a new proposal for services or product the subscriber would like to purchase. |
| Billing | Displays the subscriber’s billing information including invoice details, history, and accepted payments |
| Site Inventory | Displays all equipment added to completed service tickets or jobs assigned to the subscriber. This table displays read-only information. |
Contact
The Contact dialog is where users manage information assigned to contacts. See the Add Contact documentation for more information on the options available here.

Contact - Other

Contact - Paging

Contact - Valid
The Valid Days/Times tab available when managing subscriber contact information is where users assign days and times to the contact and their assigned passcode. See the Valid Days/Times documentation for more information on this tab.

Contact - Voice

Contacts
The Contacts tab available within Data Entry allows users to manage personal and communication information of individuals assigned to the subscriber account. See the Contacts Tab documentation for more information on this tab.

Data Entry Admin
Data Entry Admin is typically used by administrative users to make changes to accounts. See the Data Entry Admin documentation for more information about this page.

| Chart Code Maintenance | Allows users to manage chart codes available on the global, residential, or commercial level. |
| Assign Accounts | Allows users to manage the account numbers assigned to dealers. |
| Reassign Accounts | Allows users to transfer accounts from one dealer to another. |
| Blocked Account Entry | Allows users to prohibit the use of specific account numbers. |
| Copy Dealer | Allows users to replace one dealer’s data with another’s. |
| Inactivate/Reactivate by Dealer | Allows users to update the dealer’s status within the system. |
| Alarm Escalate Groups | Allows users to manage groups of operators alarms can be escalated to when handling alarm signals. |
Dealer Group Maintenance
The Dealer Group Maintenance tab available within Dealer Maintenance is used to manage subdealers. See the Dealer Group Maintenance documentation for more information on this tab.

Dealer Info

Zone Details
