Queued Changes Tab

The Queued Changes tab is used to manage changes made to the account by queued users. Queued users are users who cannot make changes to accounts without approval. This tab is only accessible to admin users who have the authority to approve/refuse these changes. See the User Maintenance documentation for information on creating queued users.

The Queued Changes table displays all changes made to the account by queued users. Admin users can approve or refuse these changes as necessary. Users can interact with the Queued Changes table via the available toolbar options. These options are defined below.

Approve/RefuseAllows the users to accept or deny proposed changes. More information on approving and refusing changes can be found below.
ReloadRefreshes the table to display up-to-date information.

Double clicking on a change row will display the change in its respective tab within Data Entry.

Approve/Refuse

Selecting Approve/Refuse from the toolbar will display the Change Request Approval/Disapproval dialog box for the proposed changes.

Users can define how they wish to handle changes from the All Changes dropdown. The available options are defined below.

Approving/Refusing Individual Changes

If Selective is selected from the All Changes dropdown, users will have access to each change type to approve or refuse changes based on their change category. Each of these types is defined below.

Please Note: The types available for selection are restricted to the types of changes that are pending within the Queued Changes table. For example, if a user only made changes defined as Subscriber, the only option available to select will be Subscriber.

EmailAllows users to approve or refuse changes made to emails assigned to contacts. This information is located under the Emails subtab found when adding/editing contacts on the account.
SchedulesAllows users to approve or refuse changes made to the information under the Schedules tab.
PremiseAllows users to approve or refuse changes made to premise contacts. This information is located under the Premise subtab found under the primary Contacts tab.
Notify ListAllows users to approve or refuse changes made to the information under the Notify Lists tab.
Valid ContactsAllows users to approve or refuse changes made to contacts’ availability times. This information is located under the Valid Days/Times subtab found when editing contacts on the account.
Premise EmailAllows users to approve or refuse changes made to premise contacts’ email addresses. This information is located under the Premise subtab found under the primary Contacts tab.
Change Account NumberAllows users to approve or refuse changes made to the subscriber’s account number.
Delete AccountAllows users to approve or refuse an attempt to delete the subscriber account.
ContactsAllows users to approve or refuse changes made to contacts on the account. This information is located under the Contacts subtab found under the primary Contacts tab.
RightsAllows users to approve or refuse changes made to contacts’ privileges. This information is located under the Rights subtab found when adding/editing contacts on the account.
ZonesAllows users to approve or refuse changes made to the information under the Zones tab.
HolidaysAllows users to approve or refuse changes made to schedules that determine the account’s availability during holidays. This information is located under the Holiday subtab found under the Schedules tab.
Alt NamesAllows users to approve or refuse changes made to any additional names or titles assigned to the subscriber. This information is located under the Subscriber tab via the Alternate Names button option.
NotesAllows users to approve or refuse changes made to the information under the Notes tab.
Valid PremisesAllows users to approve or refuse changes made to premise contacts’ availability times. This information is located under the Valid Days/Times subtab found when editing premise contacts on the account.
Zone HourlyAllows users to approve or refuse changes made to the zone signal test parameters. This information is located under the Timers subtab found under the Subscriber tab via the Zone Test Options button.
Copy Another Acct To This AcctAllows users to approve or refuse the request to copy this account’s information to another account’s profile.
AuthoritiesAllows users to approve or refuse changes made to authority contacts on the account. This information is located under the Authorities subtab found under the primary Contacts tab.
PagingAllows users to approve or refuse changes made to contact paging parameters and contact information. This information is located under the Paging subtab found when editing contacts.
PartitionsAllows users to approve or refuse changes made to the account’s partition divisions. This information is located under the Partitions subtab found under the Other tab.
Copy Data To This AccountAllows users to approve or refuse the request to copy another account’s information to this account’s profile.

Once all information is approved/refused as needed, select Submit. Once submitted, users will be prompted by three separate dialog boxes. These dialog boxes are defined below.

Enter Refuse Reason

If any changes were refused, users will be prompted to assign a reason for the refusal. Once a reason is defined, select Save to complete assigning the reason. If desired, users can select Skip to abstain from defining a reason.

Send Email

The Send Email dialog box allows users to send emails to applicable users regarding the changes. Select Yes to send an email notification to users. All applicable users will receive an email notification stating changes were approved/refused on the account. See the User Maintenance documentation for more information on setting up queued change emails.

Generate Reports

The Generate Reports dialog box allows users to create any applicable reports on the account regarding the updated information. Select Yes to proceed to the Report Options dialog box. This box is defined below.

Report Options

The Report Options dialog box allows users to select which reports should be generated and how they should be delivered. Select all applicable report types that should be generated and select Print or Email.

Selecting Print will display the Select A Printer dialog box. Users can then select the digital or hardcopy printer that the report should print to.

Selecting Email will display the Email dialog box.

Select all email addresses you would like to include on the report email from the Email table. Selecting an email multiple times will update the email’s Action status. The available statuses are defined below.

  • To: Default action used to send the email directly to the selected email. Typically, the main individual you are sending the email to.
  • CC: Carbon Copy, used for any additional individuals who should receive the email for reference or general knowledge.
  • Bcc: Blind Carbon Copy, used for any additional individuals whose inclusion should be hidden from the other individuals included on the email.
  • If applicable, select Include All to select all displayed email addresses.
  • If applicable, select Clear All to deselect all currently selected email addresses.

Select the Add Email option to add an additional email to the table. Selecting Add Email from the toolbar will display the Additional Email Address dialog box.

Input the new email address and the name of the contact in their respective fields. Select Update to complete adding the new email to the list.

Select Send to complete emailing all selected contacts the report(s). See the Report Manager documentation for information on how to run and manage the reports available within Matrix.
